Hi,

I'm moving to Liverpool from Sheffield in the next few weeks to start a new job. Excited to try out some new riding on the west side. Also, if anyone knows of some bike-friendly accommodation for rent in the area please let me know!! Hopefully meet you on the trails...

Yes I am a fan of the Orange bikes, and no I don't use sunbeds or fake bake - it's all natural! I have an Orange 5 and a 224, so will be planning plenty of trips to exciting new places :)

Starting a new job as a landscape architect in the city centre. Liverpool is all new to me, but will be looking for a permanent base somewhere in the south of the city. I've heard Sefton Park/Aigburth area is a decent place to live. Any other suggestions?

Take a look at The Wirral as well mate, its 5 minutes from Liverpool on the other side of the water and is so much better than Liverpool.

Yeh LOL, I should have said, avoid Birkenhead...And the tunnel is a pain, but the countryside is better and makes it more than worthwhile.

The Wirral is not so much better than Liverpool. Thats a stupid statement, ignore Aftershock. Liverpool is a fabulous city, you will love it.

I didn't mean it that way Daniel, I love going out in Liverpool its now one of the best night-life cities around. What I meant was the Wirral is a lot greener with a lot more open areas to explore, there is a great coast line and plenty of places to get out and about on the bike.

Some fierce debating going on here. Looks like I have much to find out when I move to the west side. Cheers for all the comments :)

I can't believe nobody has said why not live in Billinge and commute to Liverpool as its got great riding on your doorstep and the clubs spiritual home plus there is some great property to rent or buy there

I thought that actually, nearer to better trails and also cheaper insurance on everything.
