  • Hello Hello Hello

    Hi to all,

I'm 39, nearing the big 40, originally from Bury but moved to Liverpool a few years ago for work.

Got back into riding again by commuting a few years, and got a MTB a couple of years ago. Been riding pretty easy XC type stuff, mainly the fire roads at Delamere. I want to stretch my legs now and get into riding different trails with like minded MTBers.

Just one question before I press send on my application email. My bike is a hardtail Trek 6000 - is it up to the job if riding the trails you ride? Everyone else on the site seems to have full suspension.

Hope to get out on a ride witn you all soon

Riding hardtails is not a problem, only bike i got is a HT been with club coming up to 2 yrs i think. Many members have two bikes using HT as a 2nd bike for smaller rides or they refair them on what rides there do. So dont worry about HT v FS just means were better riders then FS ^_^

Most in the club have more than one bike .

I have stopped riding full sussers for a year and riding / technique does improve.

Just get on ncrs or the next newbie ride and get out and get muddy.
