  • Alreeet!!! Any Fat bikers???

Hello everyone. Just joined and looking to get involved! I live in Southport and ride a full suss Specialized and a no suss Commencal but have recently added an on one fat bike to the fold.

Had my first beach blast night before last just as the tide was going out and I'm hooked. Would love to find someone local with similar to ride with?

Usually ride my full suss at Gisburn, Rivi, Cannock Chase but am keen to get out on some more natural terrain at the weekend rather than just bashing the trail centres.

Give us a shout if your in my neck of the woods!!!

The sun will be out and so will the tide, so I'll be Fat Biking up your way early tomorrow morning.

The Iron Men at 8.15(ish) Ainsdale 9.30(ish) via beach or single track depending on the wind direction, back home at 10.30.
        All the best

One Fat Bike tip I've found, On One Fatty's with Floater tyres aren't that good on the beaches, take a look at Surly Larry's for beach work

TBH my I don't ride my Fatty on the beaches (unless anyone fancies a test ride) I prefer my Mukluk for flat beach rides.

Thanks for the tip!!! New bike syndrome for me. Only had it since Sunday so tryin it on everything I can at the mo!! Main problem is my mates all ride trail and a blast through the pine woods or on the beach isn't enough for them but I love it. Not impossible that I can't make it tomoz but unlikely. Definitely keen to ride with you though. PS where do you get your inner tubes...?

                  Welcome Keefey.

Keep an eye out for the next newbie ride, there's one tomorrow but from what you say, it's not good timing for your missus!

Another will roll round in March that you can get your name down for.

Keep an eye out for NCRs or invites from members in the meantime
