At 3pm yesterday afternoon (20/7/13) I drove my loaded up car for a Micro Adventure.

I headed off to Church Stretton and by 5pm I was riding my laidened bivi bike.

The high gearing and heavy load had me pushing up a ride I normally ride up

Over the first of many cattle grids to be greeted by wild ponies and a high off horizon

From the view point looking at Saturday nights bivi spot of Stiperstones

I meet up with Stuart, Taylor, Ian and Mike (you don't know them) at a pub for a bite to eat, pictures not worth posting but scampi and chips when down well with a pint of Mild.

Looking back up the next climb to Stiperstones with Long Mynd on the horizon, Stuart and Taylor pushing up.

The re grouping

What followed this shot was loads of hike a bike over a very rocky un rideable track to the summit

Bivi spot in hiding

Maybe not in hiding from this direction

Not a bad view to end the day looking at

This was the moment I realised I had a bit of a problem

This shot was taken at 5am this morning after a very uncomfortable night after finding my bivi air bed had a tiny hole in it which only went down after 20 minutes of me laying on it.

So, after about 3 hours of sleep it was light enough to ride, so I packed up, said my good byes to my bivi mates and headed off for the rest of my Micro Adventure

The clouds were very low and it was very damp with the cloud mist but no rain, There were no views from the trig point, so I didn't stop there again.

The last downhill of the trip

I stopped to take a picture of a badger that crossed the path in front of me, but by the time I got the camera out it was gone as was the buzzard circling overhead

Looking back to the ridge

Breakfast, meet balls to start, porridge to finish

Loaded up and I'll clean it later

I was home at 9.30am, faffed, un packed tidied up showered, then went back to bed and I got up at 12.45pm
