    Hello

    Just joined the forum and thought I would say hello. I have come close to joining you a few times over the years and always put it off until I get fitter. I now realise I won't get any fitter unless I start riding with a proper group!

    I have been riding for about 16 years but my fitness has suffered as riding buddies have dropped away to do other things. I'm now in the rut of sticking to Llandegla/Gisburn/Grizedale. Determined to join up this time so will look out for MCR/Newbie rides. It will take a while to get fit again but he old rider must be under the flab somewhere!

      Hello matey,
      Do you have lights suitable for off road use (normal commuter lights are not good enough )

      A lot of training rides are mid week on an evening.
      I do a regular one that is quite near to you so might be just what you are looking for

        There's a few of us doing Buxton on Sunday ,drop tyrekicker a pm for details
        on the seventh day he rode ,and the lord said to me come fourth and i shall give you eternal life, i came fifth and won a toaster.

        I dont get flashbacks i'm still there

          Hi Glenn,

          We're doing an easy 16 miler around Buxton on Sun if you fancy joining us? Tyre Kicker has been injured so the pace won't be fast. There's nothing that technical either but it's still a pretty good route with a few hills to test the lungs!

            Thanks for the welcome guys - Syko no proper night lights at the moment but might look into it.

            Nobby/Tracey will check the pass - out situation for Sunday and may join you if ok with tyrekicker - thanks for the invitation

            Would the ride be Buxton circle? I remember that from years ago - the hills used to kill me even then!

              Hiya Glenn, no probs with the ride on sunday if you can make it & yes it is the Buxton circle, PM on the way if you can read them.
