Hope there is a happy ending to this story. I'd love to hear that the windows of the guys silver BMW had an accidental collision with a golf club.

I'd be careful if you are going round, looks like his mates could be pretty handy.

Just spoke to an ex copper ... she said that as all the donkey work has been done and we have his name, address (should be easy enough to get) Gumtree and Shpock accounts he should take that to the police station along with any proof it's his ... any modifications from standard, photographs and hopefully serial numbers and they have no reason not to act on it quickly.... it's an easy arrest for no effort on their behalf

                      Hiya guys, im absolutely gutted!
First of all, Thanks so much guys/gals for helping me out with this, muchos appreciated.
                      Long story short guys.
I gave police all detaikls even pictures that the scummy thieves sent me of the bike etc.
Police said they would meet up with myself in the area, Police DID NOT turn up, they told me that they wold ring me Im still waiting for that call from them.

I met up with the thieves, was 3 of them & 1 of me with my mother! So not only did the Police put myself at risk, they also put my mum at risk. Words cant describe how i feel about merseyside police, absolute joke. Instead of lying to me, why not just say, "we cant come!" instead of putting myself but more impotrantly my mother at risk. Absolutely disgusted.
Anyway, yup it was my bike 100% i had to keep it cool and not let on it was my bike but played along as the potential buyer to re-arrange to meet them tonight but pointless on my own & theres no way im going to rely on the waste of space police. So its fair to say the bike is gone.

And to top it off, just got a message of the thieves to ask if im still coming for the bike at 20:30 as thats when i said id come back!

If the police had shown up when they said they would, my bike with no doubt would now be back with me.
But a massive thanks to you guys on this forum (i only signed up on it a few days ago!) but if it wasnt for you guys & this forum i wouldnt have got the shot that i got, i gave it ago but just wasnt meant to be.

Again i cant thank you guys enough especially craig24 (i defo owe you a beer dude!). On the upside my new bike shold be here mid next week, but cant believe i came SO CLOSE to getting my bike back but thanks to the police it didnt happen

That is so wrong of the police. Sad and wrong as this maybe, its the way we seem to have gone with our public services. This would be something that i could not accept. Maybe contact your MP? or the top brass of Merseyside police. Soooo wrong.

Hope eventually you get a happy ending,
